    Long Lake Rowing Crew Masters

    LLRC is a vibrant group of local adults who enjoy time together on the water! 

    Whether it's training for a regatta or sharing the joy of learning a new skill, or simply enjoying the beauty of being outside, silently gliding across the water. 


    We offer coached training groups 3 days / week. 


    If you have never rowed before, we require you to  take a few instructional lessons first,  and your instructor can advise, when you are ready to join our Masters group.

    This is an easy, low cost way to explore rowing, and prepare you for joining our Masters program, if you decide!  Lesson link will be posted once weather conditions permit:

    Long Lake Rowing Crew 2025 Programs

    Indoor Training

    We join together for coaching and team camaraderie a the Long Lake Fire Station; Jan-March, Tue/Thurs 6-7:30 pm. 



    On the Water

    Group Coaching 3 days/wk.

    April 10 through October 5th


    LLRC MASTERS program will launch on the water programming, once Long Lake has reached safe water /air temperatures.  Indoor rowing on T/ Th available until we start on the water. 


    Generally this is early May, but varies year to year !


     When you sign up for our "on the water program" it includes indoor rowing in April, and merging on to the water as conditions allow.

    2025 Season Fee: $945 for payment in full, or 2payments of $492 each every 4 weeks. Family Discount code (either 2 masters, or a master rower with a junior rower): KFRGQ 5% discount)

    Fees: $550 .

    **If you have never rowed before, or you have not rowed in many years, please schedule private lessons with our coaching staff. Lessons available in late May.

    Morning Practice Group

    This morning group is open to rowers who are comfortable training in a racing level single shell  and also have the capacity to keep up with the group on the water, so that all rowers will be safely close to the coach and group. 

    Rowers will develop their fitness and racing skills with workouts geared towards competition. 

    Spring Summer Practice Times: 6am-7:30am

    Fall Practice times will be adjusted with sunrise hours.

    All skill levels are welcome to our evening group (once a rower has progressed through learn to row lessons & a coach has determined them ready for the Masters group), with the goal of creating an inclusive environment. Coaches will coach rowers through an organized workout of training, conditioning and technique work. Newer rowers will continue to improve their rowing skills. more experienced rowers will gain fitness & technical skills with opportunity for racing as desired. 

    Spring-Summer Practice Times: Mon & Wed 6:30-8pm, Sat 7am-8:30am

    Fall Practice Times:  M & W 6pm-7:30pm., Sat. 7-8:30am

    Last evening session; Oct 2nd, just in time for Head of the Mississippi
