COVID 19 Plans:

  • Rowers should NOT attend a practice if they are experiencing (or have had in the past 72 hours) a sore throat, fever 100F, cough, body aches, loss of taste or small or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or been in contact in the past 14 days with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Rowers should check their temperature prior to practice if they are feeling unwell, and not attend if their temp is >100F.

  • Rowers will sanitize their hands upon arrival and again upon departure from LLRC using the procedures and products provided at the LLRC site.

  •  Rowers will socially distance (6 feet+) with other rowers (members of the same household excepted), including while on the dock. No more than 4 people can be on the dock at one time.

  • Practice groups will be no more than 10 per group.

  •  Rowers will wear a mask on land AND on the dock. Rowers will carry their mask in their boat, so they can be masked upon docking again.

  • Rowers will clean equipment before and after each use (oars and boat surfaces, seat, oarlocks, slings) using the procedures and products provided at the LLRC site.

  • Oars will be assigned by Head Coach to each rower. You will use the same pair of oars for the season. This minimizes how many different people are handling the same equipment, oars will still be cleaned before/after each use.

  •  Rowers need to bring their own towel to / from practices to towel dry/ clean their boat after use, prior to spraying with sanitizing spray.

  • Rowers will row in single boats ONLY. Only rowers from the same household are permitted to row in a double.

  • Rowers will proceed directly to the LLRC equipment area and will not occupy other areas at Birch's. I will depart directly after rowing, and not loiter. Birch's restaurant is closed to the public, and the restrooms are not open for LLRC use.
